This Father’s Day, Zafferano presents a spread of Italian favourites for celebratory meals with dad. On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June 2021, feast on a sumptuous ten-course set menu for 2 persons ($198+), available for takeaway via self-collection and delivery.
Whet the appetite with a trio of starters. Angel hair pasta dressed with seaweed and white balsamic vinegar is topped with 5g of premium Kaluga caviar, while the refreshing flavours of burratina and eggplant caponata are heightened with roasted pine nuts. Panseared foie gras with heirloom carrots and pickled mustard offers a luscious treat.
For pastas, relish the house-made Kurobuta pork ravioli and linguine with Alaskan king crab and cherry tomatoes. Three delectable choices for the main course are set to please dads. The salt-crusted Australian seabass (pictured above) and New Zealand lamb rack (pictured below) are presented either perfectly cooked for fuss-free enjoyment or packed in baking trays to be finished in the oven at home.
Fathers who love beef will be thrilled with a hearty charcoal-grilled Black Angus Fiorentina (1kg; supplement $30+). The main course is complemented with two side dishes – luscious truffle mashed potatoes and grilled green asparagus.
Satiating the sweet tooth are two timeless desserts – classic tiramisu and Valrhona chocolate tart.
